I like to think if landscapes had ghosts, what would those apparitions look like? If places exist for so long and are the quiet witness to everything we do, perhaps a ghost of that place hovers in the air above and around us. The sea, land, buildings and sky are all made of the same malleable substance, a little viscose like smoke, melting like ice and brittle as rice paper.
These drawings, paintings and photographs are not necessarily a theater for supernatural environments, but they are about place and memory. Perhaps, the unnameable terrain between our memories.
