statement

Most of my work has a scientific conotation. My large architectual installations reflect an analogy to the structural order found in biological organisms. The thinking process is usually multilayered and, although a scientific concern maybe underlying, aesthetic, material and functional considerations modify and alter the final configuration. My public artworks consider historical, enviromental and sociological aspects in site specific presentations.

Present concerns are and expanding universe, physics, philosophy and the process of translating abstract concepts; and information into a visual statement. Art is a reflection of our thoughts, and since most ideas are complete, so is art.

Caspar's work reflects a uniquely personal expression of his interest in minimal, post-minimal and conceptual ideas.
