Francesca Arcilesi and Norma Busigo are pleased to present Co-Incidental, a collaborative exhibition of paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture. The show’s focus is on how each work exists as its own incident - that is, as a testament to its ability to synthesize and transpose its commonality into a visual language.

Co-Incidental features works by New York City artists: Jon Allen, Inna Babaeva, Vincent Arcilesi, Alex Callender, Kate Goyette, Jordan Hollender, Jun'ichiro Ishida, Kristin Lindner, Frank de Las Mercedes, Fernando Molero, Hyo Nam, Erik von Ploennies, Jeffrey Allen Price, Emanuele Simonelli, Nola Romano, Jeffrey Rothstein, Jesse Scaturro, and Steve Zolin.

Like the gears of an invisible machine, the doors of chance open, close, and revolve continuously around us. Co-Incidental is about the discovery process of artists who start with random ingredients that begin to blend into an eclectic cohesion. As these flavors begin to meld, the artist is able to draw connections between seemingly disparate things. Curators Arcilesi & Busigo draw connections between the strong imagery and aesthetics of these artists in this one-night-only “incident”.
